COZUMEL, MEXICO!

Our ship met up again with the Triumph as we docked in Cozumel.  It was a pretty hazy day, which really made for good weather for our trip to the beach.  It sprinkled a bit, but was not overly hot.   

Our excursion took us on a short fifteen minute bus ride to a beach resort area called Playa Mia.  It was fantastic!  Sodas and drinks were included, along with a buffet lunch that was cooked with treated water, there were hammocks, a swimming pool, inflatable iceberg to climb out in the water, snorkeling, paddle boats, kayaks, and LOTS of lawn chairs.  It was fantastic!

When we got back to the pier we looked around some of the shops and had our picture taken with this painted dude….  kinda creepy!

  We had a really fun day in Cozumel!!!When we returned to the boat we were surprised to find out we had left behind three people the day before in Progresso and two people that day!  Carnival is not kidding when they say you need to be on time for the boat to pull back out into the ocean. 

That night we enjoyed a comedy show and more karaoke.  It was a lot of fun!!!  They even had a scavenger hunt we participated in and our team tied for first place!  We had a blast!!!

On Friday morning we woke up and it was time to get ready to go.  I was sad to leave but I was also SO happy to head home to our sweet little boys!  I was able to talk to them on the phone every day.  The ship had internet service and we had changed our phone to an international plan for that week…but it did not make it any easier.  I missed them like crazy.  The boys were so excited for us to get home, it was such a good feeling!!!
