Heard in Our House....

After a LONG day of potty training, I asked Noah "Honey, do you need to go potty?"
He responded, "Bathroom, Mama."
Ha, I am sorry, I did not realize we were using such big words!

Also after working on potty training we were looking at a book of pictures talking about the names of things. We came across a picture of a potty. I asked Noah what it was...his reply was "Pottyskittles" I know he knew it was a 'potty' but I guess all the talk that day of getting skittles if you go on the potty he decided pottyskittles was a good name for the pot!

Noah has a love for introducing us. At church, restaurants, etc. he proceeds to say "Mama, Amy..Daddy, Josh...brother, Andy...(and then points at himself)...Noah" He also likes to tell everyone about King and Queen, two of his favorite Cars.

Yesterday, I said "Hi honey!" to Noah and he replied, "Hi honey!" He then busted out laughing, he knew he was funny!

This morning I said "Hi Sweetheart!" when I went to get Noah out of bed, he responded "No, Noah." The look on his face was like, silly Mama, you forgot my name!!!

Noah threw a toy, so he needed to go to timeout, he sat there the whole time saying "Mama, I sorry. Time out. I sit down. Come here Mama." He then decided he was allowed to be standing in time out, after I told him to sit back down, he looked at me with a huge grin and said "thank you!" oy vey.

I'm Comin!

Yesterday Andy was sleeping in our (his, now) room and started crying. Before I could get up, Noah yelled, "I'm comin', Andy I'm comin'!" Then opened our bedroom door (to my surprise) and busted in our room! Looked at Andy in the bed crying and said "It's okay, Andy, It's okay." SO cute.

Whenever Andy is rolling on the floor Noah says "Andy, swim!" And then lays next to him and says "Two boys." It is so sweet to hear him say that!

Last night Josh had a dinner for a bass fishing tournament, so it was just the boys and I. We had a dance party (or as Noah says, 'dance potty') to Veggie Tales and read at least twenty books. Noah is really gaining patience and interest in longer stories. After reading "Curious George goes to the Aquarium" Noah decided to narrate the whole story to me. In his own words, adding in words like close, fall down and scared you. All because a little penguin fell in water and George had to save him. It was so cool to hear Noah's two year old way of telling the story!

Andy can sit in the tub unsupported now! It is so crazy! He tried pulling up yesterday on a basket of toys. I think if it had been sturdier and taller he might have had success!

I have lots of new things to post about....just need to get the time/make the time to do it! Posts to come are of the Cotton Gin Festival with both sides of grandparents and camping, the Dewberry Festival and some every day stuff!

Please keep Noah in your prayers, he has been having some major tummy problems the last couple of weeks. About a month ago he had an allergic reaction to shrimp and was feeling bad for a couple of days. Then two weeks ago had back stomach aches and has been complaining again for the last couple days of it too. I am hoping we can get it sorted out soon, I hate hearing my baby say "tummy hurt" so often.

"Andy, Look at Mama!"

This morning Andy was playing....

Noah decided to join him....

And...they actually played together! It was such a joy to watch!!!

I cannot get enough of that last shot!!!
***funny story - Noah kept telling Andy, "Andy, look at Mama, picture!" when I pulled out the camera. He sure has learned well!

Easter Fun!

After breakfast we headed to Buda to my aunt Janet & uncle Ray's ... we had SO much fun!!!! Noah really seemed to have fun playing and running! He told us in the car as we left, "play fun!"
All dressed and ready to go!

Andy and his great-Grandma Holt
Andy snuggling with Granny while the kids took swings at a pinata.
Noah had fun trying to hit the pinata! He was funny though. He kept telling Josh and I "No no, bunny. No bunny. Hurt bunny." I do not think he quite understood, but had fun anyways!
Hunting for eggs was so fun! Noah was hilarious. He filled his basked with 19 eggs, then dumped them all out! All my cousins kiddos were looking too, but it did not take all that long to find all 526 of them!!!!

Andy kicking the soccer ball with his Grampy!

Our little boy SO loves sports. He got to play baseball!
You KNOW I was excited about that!
And soccer too!
I so hope that he continues to like sports, because I will have so much fun watching him! If his obsession with balls continues, I think I will have no worries:)

The Easter Bunny Came!

Hoppy Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Easter Bunny tracked his pink footprints right in our front door this year, all the way to the table where he left the boys their goodies!

Noah was so funny, he told us "Oh no, bunny make a mess!"

Noah going through his baskets of goodies! He loved eating
skittles and jelly beans before breakfast!!!

Our own little bunny.

I love this picture. It reminds me of Noah's first and second Easter...we took pictures of him up on the table. We were afraid it would not be safe to do that this year!!!
Andy getting to check out the goodies in his basket!!!
I hope the bunny was as good to you as he was to our boys!! :)

Saturday was a fantastic day for bluebonnets and two little boys! We even ate at a new restaurant, which was really fun and drove around and looked at houses. It was a perfect day.

Some of our favorite shots of our favorite boys.

Happy Spring!

We love to bake with Noah...
almost as much as he loves to bake with us!
Friday night Josh & Noah baked the cookies....

and played with them too...

While Andy watched...and I stayed behind the camera:)

Saturday night we frosted the cookies, sampled the cookies and dyed eggs too!
While Andy watched!

It was so much fun!!!!
