Labor Day weekend we made a whirlwind trip to San Antonio. We met Josh's folks and brother, Chris late on Friday night at a hotel by Sea World. On Saturday we woke up, had a nice breakfast and then headed over to the park. We were ALL so excited! Noah could not wait to see the penguins "Jump inta the water!" I am afraid he thought that Curious George would appear if they jumped into the water, since that is what happens in the book Curious George at the Aquarium!
Walking into the park. Andy had already conked out just walking through the parking lot!
The boys with their Grandma Judy and Granddaddy waiting for Shamu's show! Noah's facial expression did not change throughout the whole performance (reminded Josh and I of the face he was making while watching his first parade at Disney World). It is a very straight face, no expression at all! Andy was very animated, pointing and talking and laughing. It was so much fun to watch them!!! I enjoyed that as much as the show:)
After doing the
Shamu show, the otter show, eating lunch and feeding the dolphins Noah was ready for some running around! He absolutely loved running with his Daddy on the ropes and sliding down the huge slides!
Noah still talks about the dolphins and the penguins. He loved watching Chris feed the dolphins and really thought the penguins were great! Kristin would have LOVED that!!!
On Sunday we drove over to the other side of town for a quick visit with Bobbi, Kyle and Granddaddy Bob! It was SO nice to get to see them, but not nearly long enough. I wished I could have stayed in town for days to visit with them and see some friends I have not seen in forever, but hopefully soon we can make it back for another visit!
Andy and Granddaddy Bob enjoying each others company:)
