Yogurt is my new favorite food!

I mean it....my new ALL time favorite food. Noah can eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, midnight snack even! We just got home from picking Josh up from the airport and Noah walked in the door and said "eat?" So I went and got him some strawberry yogurt. I did not put the tray on his high chair, just sat real close to him and strapped him in. It was seriously the sweetest moment we have ever shared. Every bite he took, he put his arms out and leaned forward for a hug! Then he would pat my arm and say "ahhh," lean back up, take another bite, repeat.....for the ENTIRE container of yogurt! Needless to say, this is one happy Mommy!!!!

So talkative!

Noah has really been talking a lot lately! Yesterday he was saying "Hat," which was a new one for him. He even decided his blocks basket would make a good hat!

He was wearing his puppy house shoes and running around saying "oo," which I can only assume means shoe!
He now tells me "eat" when he is hungry, "baber" (water) when he wants a drink and can say many other things, like Daddy, bed, bath, Allie, cookie (as seen in previous video), pretzel, look, light, clock and many more! I am loving him talking!!!!
We have been doing well! Noah is finally over a cold and double ear infection. We picked up little Andy's furniture yesterday, which was very exciting! It is all put together :) I will post some pictures of his room soon!
Happy Tuesday!!!!

Hair today, gone tomorrow....

Our poor Allie.....she went to the groomer yesterday and came back half the doggie she once was.

BEFORE....

AFTER....

It is a good thing it is summer or she would be a cold doggie. I went too long between grooms and she ended up with knots they could not get out:( I will NEVER do that again!

Fourth of July Celebrations!!!

Noah getting ready for the parade!
Wow, what a fun day!!! On Friday morning was the neighborhood parade. We joined two friends
and their adorable kiddos for the parade while Josh, my folks and another friend took photos and
videos. Our own personal paparazzi!

Coming up our street!
Noah was so adorable! Turning and waving as we went by - all the while, me not knowing! The parade had a big yellow firetruck, a clown and even a little tiny monkey! After the parade there was judging, so we sat with our friends and visited. Noah had a cookie and whenever he was ready for a bite he would say "Coo Kee" in the cutest little voice! Here is a video.....

To my surprise, my little guy was the prince of the parade! He won the best decorated prize for the under three category!!!! We even got our picture taken for the neighborhood newspaper:)

Swimming with Daddy!

We went swimming with friends and then had a BBQ of some yummy ribs Josh cooked. It was an exhausting but really fun day!!!
Today we are just relaxing and hoping Noah gets to feeling better. He has a runny nose and sore throat. Hopefully it blows over quickly! We hope that you all had a fantastic fourth!!!!

Happy Birthday America!

This morning Noah and I went to the library for toddler time. I was told to minimize my carrying him around and try to take it easy, so we used the stroller to get in the building and then he was so good to sit in my lap during storytime. After we sang songs, including "Happy Birthday" to America and read books about the Fourth of July it was time for the kids to do a craft. This week they colored a picture and then we attached a string and streamers. Noah seemed so proud of it! I got some pictures so you all can see!
